Under her guidance the Irish have qualified for the NCAA Regionals post-season tournament every season she’s been at the helm, a streak of 24-consecutive seasons. Her 855 total career wins ranks her first for most wins all-time as a head coach at the University of Notre Dame.
Her accomplishments away from the field are equally as impressive. Each year the university awards a varsity athletics team that exhibits excellence in community service the Notre Dame Trophy Award. Her softball team has won that award in 7 of the last 8 years – thanks primarily to the success of the program’s Strikeout Cancer initiative.
