TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning and ReliaQuest, a global leader in cybersecurity in Tampa, have expanded their partnership into an exciting multi-year agreement which now makes the Tampa-based company The Official Cybersecurity Partner of the Lightning and AMALIE Arena. The enhanced partnership also includes the naming rights for the AMALIE Arena ticket office, which will now be known as the “ReliaQuest Ticket Office”.
“We could not be more proud than to strengthen our partnership with ReliaQuest,” Lightning CEO Steve Griggs said. “Brian Murphy and his team are not only leaders in the cybersecurity field, but they have also proven to be leaders in the Tampa Bay community through their support of multiple non-profits, the military and other important community initiatives. The ReliaQuest Ticket Office will serve as the front door to AMALIE Arena and its roughly two million guests per year. We are fortunate to call ReliaQuest our partners.”
“The Tampa Bay Lightning is a world-class sporting franchise and ReliaQuest is proud to join forces with them,” said Brian Murphy, CEO, ReliaQuest. “We will bring the same commitment to excellence that we deliver to all of the enterprises that entrust us with their defense against cyber threats. With this partnership, we will jointly increase awareness of strong cybersecurity across industries, while also advancing a number of beneficial charitable initiatives.”
ReliaQuest will continue to be involved in supporting several charitable initiatives. In addition to the entitlement of the ReliaQuest Ticket Office, ReliaQuest will be an associate sponsor of the Lightning Foundation’s annual Bolt Run, a 5-mile, 5K and 1-mile Family Fun Run which starts and ends at AMALIE Arena, expanding their previous role. They will also continue to be involved in another Lightning signature charity event, Coop’s Catch for Kids, head coach Jon Cooper’s charity fishing derby which benefits local pediatric cancer research organizations.
Outside of AMALIE Arena, the partnership will also further ReliaQuest’s active support of the military, with the entitlement of the University of South Florida’s military section during home football games. The section provides special offers to active duty military and veterans.
