As the industry leader in Agentic AI-powered security operations, ReliaQuest is focused on optimization in every area of the business – from our technology to our teamwork, starting with mental performance. With three full-time mental performance coaches on staff, ReliaQuest believes in leveraging principles most notably used by athletes to build a high-performance mindset that plays a part in everything we do.

On ReliaQuest's "No Show Dogs" podcast, mental performance coaches Derin McMains and Dr. Nicole Detling teach listeners about how leveraging top performance principles from the sport psychology world can lead to major breakthroughs and help them get a little better every day.

McMains and Detling have a combined 35+ years of working in the mental performance field with Olympic, Paralympic, and professional athletes, as well as world-class business executives.

McMains shared in an early episode, "The phrase 'No Show Dogs' is about doing more than just talking about it but being about it. Being willing to do the things others aren't willing to do. Don't just be a show dog, be a hunting dog."

Rated by Inc. magazine as a top 5 podcast for leadership and wellness in its first year, 'No Show Dogs' provides valuable insights about what top performers in various industries are doing to get a little bit better every day.

From conversations with NFL Hall of Fame Cornerback Rondé Barber about using "failure as fuel," to unpacking "expectations and consistency" with MLB veteran Evan Longoria, every other week 'No Show Dogs' hosts top performers to tell their story and share their strategies behind pushing past their perceived mental limit and getting the job done.

"The podcast originated as an organically intuitive response to wanting to provide this information to over a thousand teammates and over 800 customers," Detling said. "If we get our minds right, we can perform better. And that performance impacts every area of your life, not just in the office."

The 'No Show Dogs' podcast is a part of a larger mental performance program that ReliaQuest provides for its customers. Security leaders and their teams have access to training from ReliaQuest's three full-time mental performance coaches to learn how to develop the mental toughness needed to perform in today's complex security landscape, and drive excellence in high-stakes environments.

"Mental skills are trainable, and we must train these skills because the demand of this job is not going away. The bad actors aren't going to stop. The attacks will become more complex. Instead of wishing for easy, we're training for hard," McMains said.

With over 70 episodes and counting, 'No Show Dogs' continues to bridge the gap between the cybersecurity world and high-performance.

No Show Dogs is not just a saying at ReliaQuest, but a mindset. Our 1200+ teammates believe in doing whatever it takes to deliver outcomes and make security possible for our customers.
